Fit Is The Goal

Hi there!
I'm a twenty something just trying to become a thirty something and beyond!
I am a chef by day and a workout machine by night.
I'm interested in all fitblogs on Tumblr, so ask me a question, tell me what you do to keep fit, and if you want me to follow back, just make your last word a fruit!

Was going to the park and dancing, while playing my violin.

I do not admit to being a very good dancer, but I’d like to believe spending more than half my life on the violin has made me somewhat decent.
It’s too warm in California. I sweat easily enough as it is, but in December? C’mon!

But yeah, it was nice, and I ended with my favorite piece, the violin solo of Sheherazade. One day I’ll put up a video of me playing.

Bench press- 135lbs 20 reps
Bicep Curls- 35lbs 20 reps
Bent Over Fly- 20lbs 20 reps
Lateral raises- 10lb plate 10reps
Jumping Jacks- 100
Butt Kicks- 30 counts
High Knees- 30 counts
Arnold Press- 20lbs 20 reps
Planks- 1 minute
Glute-Bridge March- 20 each leg
Sit Ups-3 minutes or 1 song.

Bench press- 135lbs 20 reps
Shoulder Press- 35lbs 20 reps
Rotating Shoulder Press- 20lbs 20 reps
Front Lateral Raises- 20lbs 20 reps
Jumping Jacks- 100
Butt Kicks- 30 counts
High Knees- 30 counts
Reverse Crunches- 3 minutes, or about 1 song
Dumbbell squat with rotation press- 20lbs 20 reps (10 to the right ten to the left)
Single-Leg Lowering- 1 minute
Barbell Curls- 75lbs 30 reps

I do these twice, then finish off with one more set of bench presses and then I hit my punching bag. 5 rounds of 3 minutes, with thirty seconds of rest in between rounds.
Then I do the above workout all over again, doing everyone see there twice, finish off with one more set of 5 rounds.

The butt kicks and the knee highs I do kind of funny. So a single count is on the fourth raise of a leg. For example, one set of butt kicks is right, left, right, one. I don’t know why I do it, I just do.

Yesterday, I did a lot of working out. Enough that it almost killed me.

Crazy as I am, running, cycling, climbing, jumping, I still wanted to do my own workout at the end of the day. So, I popped a pair of antacids, took a cold shower, and put on some fresh workout clothes and this is how my workout went.

This is my heavy day, today I do some light cardio, focusing on my legs, so cycling and jogging. And drink lots of water.
Thoughts?

I’ve decided that tomorrow should be a cardio day too.

Tonight will be weights and me hitting my punching bag until I see it cry.
My stomach is a little funky, so I’m going to eat a little oatmeal before my run.

Oh, and does anyone have a fitbit? I lost my old one and might get the new model. Maybe I can start having competitions with people, who has the most steps every day.

Most of my dinners are vegan lately. I didn’t intend it to. I think I mentioned this somewhere else.
Lentils or veggie burgers or curry, minus the meat, I’m eating better.

I’m not saying I mind, it was just a curious thing, since those of you who know me know I love eating meat. It’s a thing.

Why am I still awake? Fixing computer. I will somehow pull off a miracle and fix a broken, possibly burned out CPU.

I am a shirtless, geeky god of tech!

Oh, and tomorrow is a workout day. Anyone want to give me something different to do? Make me a routine? I promise to do it.

Oh, and what does Fitspo mean?

So, really quick, this is a part of my workout. I do this, with some minor changes.First four, I do thirty of, not just thirty seconds. For the high knee and the butt kicks, I do four steps as one count, and the box jumps, every round is one, which drags everything out to around twenty two minutes. I do this four times, in between bench presses of…135lbs. The bench presses I do twenty each set and then curls, shoulder presses, and these odd ab stuff.I’ll make a video of my workout eventually, or figure out all the names of everything.Oh yeah, and after four complete sets of the cardio and weight lifting, I do ten rounds with my punching bag. That’s three minute rounds and thirty second rests in between. After that, I do everything all over again, one more time.I’m crazy, right?

Hi! Welcome to my blog!

I’ve been letting this sit in my queue for about a week now.I know, I’m lazy.

Some of you may have me as a follower on my other blog, so you may have lost a follower, but gained one again on this blog. Sorry for the confusion, I just wanted them to be separate.

At this moment, I’m about 5’6”, or 167 cm, and about 180 pounds, or about 81 kg.
Contrary to the title, Bulk to Hulk, I don’t really care about my weight. I’m more interested in being fit than huge. I don’t want biceps as big as my head or a bazillion abs, I just want to be healthy.
My family has the wonderful genetic trait of heart problems, that is a big part of my starting this blog. I want to go out with a bang, not a whimper.

So here I am! I will be awesome! And nothing…well maybe sometimes the heat…will stop me!
