I have a hard time working out to music. Most of the time I listen to audio books because music distracts me.
More than anything, it’s because I’m MAJORLY picky with the music I listen to, which is probably why I like listening to music in other languages. There is then a rhythm and I can set my workout speed to that, but no lyrics to bother me. Though some bands, like In Extremo, I can understand, they sing in German, but I work out to it because all of their songs make me think I’m a Viking.
I’m kind of goofy like that.
This song is pretty much my favorite song ever, right now. I can work out to it, and if left alone and this is playing, I will dance to it. :D
So, what do you listen to when you work out?
Was going to the park and dancing, while playing my violin.
I do not admit to being a very good dancer, but I’d like to believe spending more than half my life on the violin has made me somewhat decent.
It’s too warm in California. I sweat easily enough as it is, but in December? C’mon!
But yeah, it was nice, and I ended with my favorite piece, the violin solo of Sheherazade. One day I’ll put up a video of me playing.
