2 hours Swordplay

Cycling- 22 miles, 1:25:44

Left ankle feels stiff along with left calf.
Probably need new shoes, current pair are a bit worn out.

Also need more fruit. Out of bananas.

I have a hard time working out to music. Most of the time I listen to audio books because music distracts me.
More than anything, it’s because I’m MAJORLY picky with the music I listen to, which is probably why I like listening to music in other languages. There is then a rhythm and I can set my workout speed to that, but no lyrics to bother me. Though some bands, like In Extremo, I can understand, they sing in German, but I work out to it because all of their songs make me think I’m a Viking.
I’m kind of goofy like that.

This song is pretty much my favorite song ever, right now. I can work out to it, and if left alone and this is playing, I will dance to it. :D

So, what do you listen to when you work out?

Hi there, new people!
There are certainly a bunch of you.

I’m Chris, and to make this shorter than it needs to be, I will direct you new followers to my about me. It’s amusing, and I hope you’ll get a good laugh out of it along with getting a feel for the person who I am. 
I’m not here often enough, I tend to check Tumblr during breakfast and dinner, if I’m eating alone, on my kindle or my tablet, and those odd, rare times, like this, when I’m on my desktop, I figure I should post something.

And update on my recent, however long it’s been since I’ve updated, I’m currently running around 10-13 miles every other day, the days in between are being used to cycle then lift weights. I get to swim on weekends and random nights, like tonight, I get to change up my workout by practicing with some friends a little swordsmanship.

Also, I have a dear friend, who isn’t a fitblogger but a writer, who is putting together a series in which I’m kind of the inspiration for one of the characters. I mention this because the character eventually gets this helmet that’s shaped like a tea pot, and one of the more physically exhausting activities I’ve been devoting time to lately has been working at a smithy and trying to actually make a working version of this helmet.
It’s both tiring and frustrating as I bang away at the metal and my wallet with every version.
I’ll eventually put up picture, when I have something of note.

Other than that, on the intake side, I’ll give you guys what my choices for a normal day’s meals are.

Breakfast:

Oatmeal/eggs/fresh juice
Toast/eggs/fruit/(soy/almond/rice) milk
Avocado/salmon/soft cheese/bagel/tea

Second Breakfast (Choose Two):
Orange
Raspberries 
Apple
Peanut butter
Grapes
Nuts
Rasins
Banana
Kiwi
Strawberry
Crackers 

Lunch:
.5 cup of rice/chicken breast/home made teriyaki sauce 
Ham/cheese/avocado/whole wheat bread
.5 cup of quinoa/chicken sausage
Sweet potato, black bean & quinoa burger

Afternoon snack:
More often than not, I just make a shake of the various fruits I have.

Dinner:
Oatmeal/Banana
Romaine/quinoa
Grapes/nuts/crackers
Whole grain bread/turkey/tomatoes/spinach
Turkey/roasted peppers/tomato/spinach/tortilla

Supper:
Chicken Breast/rice/salad
Rice/lentils/red beans
Quinoa, black bean & sweet potato burger
Chicken sandwich
Steak/baked potato/roasted tomato slices
Tomato/goat cheese/spinach/sausage
Shepard’s pie 
Spinach and home made ricotta ravioli/sauce (either simple alfredo or red)
Rice/eggs/carrots/peas/edamame/meat (chicken/sausage/shrimp/fish/eel/pork)
Sushi 

I’m having issues logging in. Just curious if I’m the only one.

OH! And TMI Tuesday. Ask me stuff. Doesn’t even have to be fit related.
I kind of know a little about everything. I blame it on my 3 books a week diet.

For instance, off the top of my head I can tell you the transitional temperature of every element between 1 and 86, minus 57-71, or give you the ingredients of Kraft cheese in a can off the top of my head…because I’m weird like that.

I just realized I should also mention what the video is about. Duh, Chris.
This vlog is pretty much me catching the tumblr world up on my last month and a half, along with showing off my lumberjack beard before I shave it off.

Most of my dinners are vegan lately. I didn’t intend it to. I think I mentioned this somewhere else.
Lentils or veggie burgers or curry, minus the meat, I’m eating better.

I’m not saying I mind, it was just a curious thing, since those of you who know me know I love eating meat. It’s a thing.

Why am I still awake? Fixing computer. I will somehow pull off a miracle and fix a broken, possibly burned out CPU.

I am a shirtless, geeky god of tech!

Oh, and tomorrow is a workout day. Anyone want to give me something different to do? Make me a routine? I promise to do it.
